Dr. Alex W. C. Tse is currently a Lecturer at the Academic Unit of Mathematics, Science, and Technology, HKU, as well as a Doctoral Supervisor and Programme Director of the Master of Science in Technology, Design and Leadership for Learning. His research focuses on technology-enhanced learning, STEM education, inquiry-based learning and other areas. He has authored/co-authored over 70 refereed papers and conference papers, won multiple awards related to outstanding papers at international conferences, led commissioned projects by the Hong Kong Education Bureau, and participated in the "Learning in the Digital World" assessment domain of PISA 2025. He serves as Chair or Member of the Programme Committee for more than 25 international academic conferences, a reviewer for several international journals, and a Permanent Council Member of the Chinese Society for Inquiry Learning, boasting rich experience in teaching, research and academic services in educational technology and STEM education.
