Talk Title: Taming the “Necessary Devil”: Humanisation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Tools and Technologies for Teaching and Learning
Dr. Prince Mensah Osiesi earned his M.Ed. and Ph.D. in Educational Evaluation from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Guidance and Counseling Education (Educational Psychology) at Federal University Oye-Ekiti, Nigeria, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University of South Africa, South Africa. His research interests include educational evaluation, teacher professional development, primary education, educational psychology, online learning, and artificial intelligence in education. He participated in two research grants and published over 65 peer-reviewed articles indexed in Scopus, WoS, DOAJ, and other major databases, 4 book chapters and 3 monographs. He has taught research methods, statistics, and educational assessment to undergraduate and postgraduate students and supervised more than 35 students, establishing extensive expertise in educational research and practice. He has served as the reviewer for some journals, and is also the member of learned societies.
