Prof. Prodhan Mahbub Ibna Seraj is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) and a Visiting Research Fellow at INTI International University, Malaysia. He holds a Ph.D. in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), where he was honored with the "Best Postgraduate Student Award," with an academic background covering applied linguistics, English Language Teaching (ELT), and related fields. He has long been dedicated to the research and teaching of English as a Foreign Language (EFL), focusing on core areas such as smartphone-assisted language teaching, the integration of artificial intelligence and educational technology, and cross-linguistic acquisition, with a particular emphasis on language competence development and teaching innovation for tertiary-level learners. He has achieved remarkable research outcomes, publishing 59 academic works including 48 journal articles, 3 book chapters, and 1 monograph. His research has been cited over 1,812 times on Google Scholar with an H-index of 19. He is a recipient of the UTM International Doctoral Fellowship (IDF) and has been invited as a PhD thesis examiner by several universities. Additionally, he serves as an editorial board member for international journals and a peer reviewer for numerous Scopus/WoS-indexed journals. Actively engaged in international academic exchanges, he frequently participates in global academic conferences in linguistics and educational technology as a keynote speaker or session chair, and has organized dozens of international workshops on research methodology and academic writing, making significant contributions to academic research and talent cultivation in the field of EFL teaching.
