Places Created for Learning-PCL
While Peter C. Lippman received his Doctorate of Education from La Trobe University in the School of Arts, Sciences & Commerce in 2023, his research has always and continues to investigate how teachers and learners activate the different settings of the learning environment. In 2016, Peter founded Places Created for Learning, which is an international research and design practice. Currently, he consults for Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA), where he recommends and offers design insight for different CEWA schools. In the field of education, he has worked internationally with numerous educational communities guiding teachers and students in how and why they might re-imagine their classrooms as well as the spaces outside the classrooms to maximize learning opportunities for students. Given this, his work can be described as uniting the psychology of learning with the practice of teaching and the notion of place.
