Dr. Zhang Yan currently works as the professor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China and also is the doctoral supervisor and national second-level psychological consultant. Her research field is mental health and education cognitive neuroscience. In recent years, In the Journal of Affective Disorders, the International Journal of Disaster Risk Reduction, the Journal of Medical Science Virology, Psychophysiology, Children and Youth Services Review, Thinking Skills and Creativity, "Psychological Journal", "Psychological development and Education" and other domestic and foreign journals she has published 130 academic papers, including a high introduction paper, a single paper was cited 356 times, the total number of citations in the past five years 1283 times (Google Scholar), h-index 16. She presided over the completion of 1 National Social Science Fund, 1 National Natural Science Foundation youth project, 2 Humanities and Social Science fund projects of the Ministry of Education, more than 30 provincial, municipal and university level projects, and published 5 monographs. She has won 7 social science research and teaching achievement awards from Sichuan Provincial Government, Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, Hubei Provincial Department of Education, Hubei Provincial Government and Wuhan Municipal Government. Prof. Zhang also served as a reviewer for SCI journals at home and abroad, such as International Journal of Psychology, Body Image, Psychological Reports, etc, and served as deputy chairman of the Basic Psychology Professional Committee of Hubei Province, The 12th member of Wuhan Psychological Society, Deputy director of Brain imaging Committee, and President of Hubei Marriage and Family Research Association.
Dr. Feifei Han is an accomplished educator and researcher with a PhD in Education from the University of Sydney, specializing in educational technology, blended learning, and student engagement. With extensive roles as a Senior Research Fellow (Australian Catholic University) and Visiting Scholar (University of Hradec Králové), she leads innovative studies on AI in education, flipped classrooms, and cross-cultural learning environments. A prolific author of over 30 publications in journals like Plos One and Sustainability, she combines advanced quantitative and qualitative methodologies to explore learning analytics and self-regulated learning. Recognized with awards such as the Wiley Top Cited Article Award and EU-funded grants, Dr. Han actively contributes to global pedagogical innovation through editorial roles, conference leadership, and digital curriculum development.
Professor Elizabeth Catharina (Elize) Du Plessis is a distinguished South African academic and NRF C2-rated researcher, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Studies at the University of South Africa (UNISA). With over three decades of expertise in curriculum studies, open-distance and e-learning (ODeL), and teacher education, she has significantly shaped pedagogical practices and policy implementation in Southern Africa. A prolific scholar, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, co-edited academic books, and presented at international conferences, focusing on curriculum innovation, online assessment, and AI in education. Her leadership extends to coordinating UNISA’s PGCE (Senior Phase and FET) program, supervising postgraduate students, and advocating for equitable education through community engagement. Recognized with the EASA Research Medal and active in global academic networks, Prof. Du Plessis combines rigorous research with a commitment to mentoring educators and advancing inclusive, technology-driven learning solutions.
Dr. Wan Farah Wani Wan Fakhruddin holds a PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her research interests encompass multimodal discourse, professional and educational discourse, language and communication, and biodiversity conservation communication. She has published extensively in leading journals related to applied linguistics and language education, and she is an active researcher in areas such as language in media, investment fraud detection, and environmental communication. Dr. Farah has delivered keynote speeches, participated in invited talks, and presented at various international conferences. She is involved in numerous research projects, including those exploring linguistic representations of forest management, critical thinking in secondary education, and fraudulent investment schemes in Malaysia. Her work has been recognised for enhancing educational practices and promoting awareness of environmental sustainability and fraud prevention. Committed to advancing educational practices, Dr. Farah is seeking future collaborations with researchers and institutions worldwide.
